Sultan Olive — Multilingual Olive and Olive Oil B2B Platform
A multilingual B2B platform combining olive, olive oil and gourmet catalogues with private-label manufacturing content and DDP quotation workflows.

Description
A multilingual B2B platform combining olive, olive oil and gourmet catalogues with private-label manufacturing content and DDP quotation workflows.
Case study
Challenge
Export buyers ask about packaging, certification, samples and delivery terms, and expect a quotation rather than a price list. A broad range of oils and table olives had to be presented to international buyers in their own language, built around quotation requests.
Approach
A price-free variant model brought packaging and variety options onto the product page, and a detailed RFQ form captures DDP and delivery terms. Quotes are tracked in the admin panel and answered by PDF and email, with Telegram alerts for new requests. The site was built in four languages, with an RTL layout for Arabic.
Outcome
The platform is live at sultanolive.com in English, German, Arabic and Russian, listing more than 50 products across eight groups. Catalogue, content and languages can be extended from the admin panel without code changes.

Details
Sultan Olive is an olive and olive oil supplier rooted in the Aydın and Akhisar groves of Turkey’s Aegean region and in a family tradition dating back to 1973. Its audience is not the end consumer but importers, distributors, HoReCa suppliers, institutional buyers and private label customers who want to sell under their own brand. We built a multilingual B2B catalogue and quotation platform where these buyers can explore the range and request a structured export quote directly.
Context and requirements
Export buyers ask different questions than retail shoppers: which packaging options exist, what about acidity and certification, how do samples and lab reports work, and on what delivery terms will the goods reach the destination country? The site had to answer these on the product page, work on a quotation model instead of prices, and speak to foreign buyers in their own language. The range is also broad, from extra virgin and organic oils to infused gourmet oils, specialty oils such as avocado and flaxseed, and dozens of table olive varieties.
Solution and scope
Product catalogue
The catalogue lists more than 50 products across eight groups: premium olive oils (extra virgin, virgin, organic), gourmet infused oils (basil, porcini, white and black truffle, chili, rosemary, garlic, matcha), specialty oils (grapeseed, avocado, flaxseed, sesame, coconut, hemp seed), whole, pitted, stuffed and marinated olives, plus private label. The stuffed olive group alone covers 18 varieties, including pepper, jalapeño, almond, caper, cheese, and lemon and orange peel.
No prices or stock levels are shown; products carry packaging and variety options through a variant model. On the extra virgin olive oil page, for example, buyers can switch between eight packaging options from 250 mL glass to 5 L tin and request a quote for the selected option. Product pages also show origin, acidity, certifications, export process notes and related products.
Quotation (RFQ) workflow
The quote form captures every part of a B2B purchase request: company and job title, product category and name, quantity, project type, technical requirements, destination country and delivery city, delivery terms, DDP requirement and timeline. Each request is stored with its language and country; requests sent from a product page are linked to that product.
Corporate and content pages
The site includes About, Our Olive Groves, oil extraction technology past and present, Production, Quality and Certifications, Private Label, For Importers, Export, Gallery, References, FAQ, Knowledge and News sections, plus on-site search. Guides on choosing and storing olive oil and on Mediterranean olive culture inform buyers and support organic search visibility.
Admin panel
The Next.js admin panel manages everything visible on the site without code changes:
- Catalogue: products, categories and subcategories; API endpoints to list, create, reorder and update product variants
- Quotes: status tracking for incoming RFQs, admin notes, quote PDF generation and template-based email delivery
- Content: custom pages, gallery, references, services, menu items and footer sections
- Communication: contact messages, newsletter subscribers, comments and reviews, email templates
- System: site settings, media storage, users and roles, notifications, audit log and cache
An AI content assistant is built in: improving titles and copy, translating into other languages and generating meta titles and descriptions all run through a single endpoint.
Technical architecture
The frontend runs on Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4; the API on Fastify and Bun, with Drizzle ORM and MySQL for data. Validation uses Zod and the API is documented with Swagger. The database can be rebuilt from scratch with ordered seed SQL files; schema changes live in the seed files rather than ad-hoc ALTER statements, so every environment starts from the same schema.
Product and variant data is stored per language in i18n tables. Product images are automatically converted from source files into optimised WebP and linked to the catalogue through a manifest.
Multilingual delivery
The site is live in English (default), German, Arabic and Russian; Arabic pages use a right-to-left (RTL) layout. Locale routing is handled by next-intl, and active languages are controlled from site settings.
SEO and security
The sitemap contains 385 URLs with hreflang links for all four languages and x-default. Pages carry Organization and Product structured data and locale-specific meta and Open Graph tags. Admin endpoints are protected by JWT authentication and admin role checks, and admin actions are written to an audit log.
Integrations
- Puppeteer for quote PDF generation
- Nodemailer with editable email templates for sending quotes to buyers
- Telegram notifications that alert the team to new quote requests instantly
- Groq (OpenAI-compatible) language model for in-panel content and translation support
- Local media storage with Cloudinary support
Outcome
Sultan Olive is live at sultanolive.com in four languages. Buyers can explore the range from product group down to packaging option and submit their delivery expectations, including DDP, in a single form; the team tracks requests in the panel and replies with a PDF quotation. Catalogue, content and languages can grow without code changes.
